Gregory J. 'Greg' Miller

Gregory Joe Miller, age 59, departed this life on Monday December 2, 2024. He was born on November 23, 1965. Greg was a member of the class of 1984 at Oneida High School and a graduate from Tennessee Tech University. Greg was an avid football fan and was known as Uncle “B” to his many friends, he was always there to make you laugh or tell a good story. 

Greg was of the Baptist faith, and he is now rejoicing with his Lord Jesus and other family members who went on before him. 

He is preceded in death by father: Raymond Joe Miller; Sister: Renae Miller Stephens; Grandparents: Oscar and Leatha Smette, and Joe and Sylvia Miller; Uncles: Raymond A. Miller, Myron Smette, Kenneth Grilley, Wayne Miller, and Fred Miller; Aunts: JoAnn Ledford, and Annella Miller; Son-in-law: Seth York; Cousin: Keith Lee Smette.  

He is survived by his loving wife of 14 years: Denise Marcum Miller; Mother: Delila Miller: Son: Gregory and Emily Miller; Daughter: Maddie Knipe; Step-Children: Ashley and Keven Jeffers, and Wesley Cross; Grandchildren: Emma, Lily, and Jordyn York, Marley Knipe, Luna Miller, Gracie, Lennox, Tillie Cross, Maddox, Laney, Kinsley, Lochlyn Jeffers; Niece: Taylor and Jeff Summers; Father-in-law: Mearle Marcum; Mother-in-law: Marsha Creekmore; Aunts and Uncles: Douglas and Charlotte Smette, Janie Conner, Linda Smette, Donna Grilley, and Deborah and Gary Stratton; Special Friends: Kenny “Moose” Burchfield, Jerry Lay, Marvin Lay, Kelly McCartt, and Wayne Morgan; and many other relatives and friends.

Greg’s wishes were cremation and requested no memorial service.

He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
