Gregory Theodore 'Goobie' Leib

Gregory Theodore ‘Goobie’ Leib, age 53, went to be with the Lord on Friday, June 27, 2025, at his brother’s home.  He was born on November 13, 1971 in Tampa, FL to the late Rodrick Henry and Elveada Smith Leib.  Goobie recently got saved while in the hospital and was ready to meet his Saviour Jesus Christ.

He was preceded in death by two brothers:  James Conrad Leib and Darryl Lee Leib; grandparents:  Elmer Smith, and Kenneth and Lottie Myers.

Goobie is survived by two sons:  Nathan Leib and Fiancée Elizabeth Bryant, and Braxton Leib and partner Wesly Crabtree; grandchildren:  Aubrey and Aliyah Brosan and Zaiden Leib; sister:  Candice Foster and husband Jerry; two brothers:  Rodrick Henry Leib, Jr. and Fiancée Sharree Gibson and Martin Leib; and many other relatives and friends.

Friends may visit with the Leib family on Tuesday, July 1, 2025, from 6:00 p.m. until time of funeral service at 8:00 p.m. at the Word of God Ministries on Troxel Drive in Oneida, TN, with Bro. Josh Kennedy and Bro. Jerry Foster officiating.  Music will be provided by:  Josh Kennedy, Nannette Duncan and Joann Gibson.
