Greta Watters

Greta Kay Brown Watters, age 56 of Jamestown, TN, passed away on Friday, October 28, 2022, at her home. Born June 11, 1966, she was the daughter of the late Grover Brown and Julia Bowling Brown.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter: Maggie Christina Watters; sisters: Carol Sexton and Joyce Puckett; and nephew: Gideon Brown.

Greta is survived by her children: Sasha Atkins and husband Wade, Hasten Watters and significant other Samantha Kirby, Bobby Watters and wife Amanda, and Daniel Alford and husband Ray; the love of her life: Brad Thompson; stepchildren: Taylor Roberts and husband Josh, Denise Mapes and husband Scott, and Bradley Thompson and wife Kasey; grandchildren: Kayla Brockington, Elijah Brockington, Tabari Brockington, Jacelyn (JJ) Roberts, Ivy Roberts, Theo Roberts, Adlee Thompson, and Alainee Thompson; special friends: Tess Sterling, Janie Choate, and Sharon Jones; as well as other family members and friends.

Friends may visit with the Watters family on Wednesday, November 2, 2022, in the Chapel of Jones and Son Funeral Home from 12:00 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 2:00 p.m. with Bro. Boyd Jones officiating.

Committal service will follow in the Brown Cemetery in Helenwood.  Pallbearers will be Boyd Jones, Randy Brown, Gary Brown, Hasten Watters, Bobby Watters, and Wade Atkins.
