Gussie Otella (Ellis) Hall

Gussie Otella Ellis Hall, age 58, of Winfield, TN, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, January 18, 2025, at the Big South Fork Medical Center in Oneida, TN.  Born June 6, 1966, she was the daughter of Joyce Chitwood and the late Wiley (Shorty) Ellis.  

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by husband:  Robert Hall; sisters:  Novella Miller, JoAnn Bailey, and Sue Owens; brother:  Will Ellis; and nephews:  Michael Ashton Stephens and Jonathan Chambers.

In addition to her Mom:  Joyce Chitwood, Gussie is survived by her long-time companion:  Eddie Cotton; son and daughter-in-law:  Casey and Giuly Kidd, Missionaries to Peru; sisters:  Pearl Ellis, Pauline and Jerry George, Michella Stephens, and Virginia Daugherty; brother:  Curtis Ellis; brother-in-law:  Gary Miller; special life-time friend:  Paula Terry Strunk; fur babies:  Shadow and Mystic; several nieces and nephews; as well as other family members and friends.

Friends may visit with the Hall family on Thursday, January 23, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. until time of funeral service at 2:00 p.m. in the Jones & Son Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Casey Kidd officiating.  

Committal service will follow in the Chitwood Cemetery in Winfield, TN.
