Hettie Jewel Bushman

Hettie Jewel Bushman age 92 of Oneida, Tennessee, passed away on Monday, June 18, 2018 at the Huntsville Manor in Huntsville, Tennessee. She was born on October 28, 1925 in Winfield, Tennessee to the late Louie and Zilah Davis.

She was in the US Army where she received her nursing degree and she was a member of The First Baptist Church in Oneida, Tennessee.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband: Edgar Bushman; son: Timothy Bushman; brothers: Astor Davis, Jessie Davis, Milace Davis, Denver Davis, and Bobby Davis; sisters: Margie Bell Wright, Mary Alice King, and Lorene King.

She is survived by her sons: Ervin Bushman and wife Kitty and Roy Bushman; sister: Priscilla Chambers; grandchildren: Megan and Tim Myers, Aaron Bushman, Sarah Bushman, and many more relatives and friends.

Friends may visit with the Bushman family on Sunday, June 24, 2018 from 12 p.m. until time of the funeral service at 2 p.m. in the chapel of West-Murley Funeral Home.

Burial will follow in the Zilah Davis Memorial Cemetery with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
