Hubert Terry

Hubert Terry, age 77, formerly of the Paint Rock community, now resided in Oneida, TN, passed away on Thursday, December 21, 2023, at the Big South Fork Medical Center. Born in Scott County, TN on January 7, 1946, he was the son of the late Woodrow and Lola Terry of the Paint Rock community.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Buddy Terry; one sister, Jan (Lennie) Morgan of GA; mother and father-in-law, Walter (Tom) and Rose Mae Yancey Reid.

Hubert is survived by his wife of 48 years, Teresa Reid Terry; son, Daniel and wife Dorothy Terry and their daughters, Elizabeth Grace and Emma Jane Terry of Oneida; special niece who was like a daughter, Tina (Glen) Buttram of the Paint Rock community; brother, Earl Terry of the Paint Rock community; sisters, Lorene Terry of the Paint Rock community, Ruby (Herman Louie) McDaniels of Huntsville, Carolyn Terry and Reba Terry of the Paint Rock community, Glenice (Gary) Chambers of the Buffalo community; brothers-in-law, Frank Morgan of GA and Danny (Vickie) Reid of Ohio; sisters-in-law, Sue Hilinski of Ohio, Delmar Reid of Ohio, and Donna (Dave) Bilbrey of Ohio; special friend, Lee Jeffers; many, many nieces and great nieces and nephews and great nephews; many other relatives and friends.

His request was cremation.
