James Andrew Byrd, age 84 of Knoxville, TN passed away on Tuesday, October 29, 2024, at the University of Tennessee Medical Center in Knoxville, TN. Born in Nashville, TN on September 4, 1940, he was the son of the late Hugh and Jessie Lee Wallace Byrd. He graduated from the Tennessee School for the Deaf on May 28, 1961.

A private graveside service will be held.
