James Roy Craig, age 65 of Oneida, TN, passed away on Sunday, November 26, 2017 at the Methodist Medical Center in Oak Ridge, TN.  He was born in Oneida, TN on October 16, 1952 to the late James and Zilphia West Craig.

James was a member of the Big Ridge Missionary Baptist Church, life time member of the NRA, and the National Hunting Club.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his second mother Lelia Craig; mother-in-law Doris Chambers; sister-in-law Naomi Chambers; brother-in-law Phillip Smith; two special grandchildren Tyler and Savannah Laxton.

Survived by his wife Anita Chambers Craig; two sons: Tommy Craig and wife Samantha of Oneida, TN, and Adam Chambers and wife Kim of Oneida, TN; daughters: Christy Ginn and husband Jared  of Oneida, TN and Amber Newman and husband Chad of Morristown, TN; sisters: Sue Smith and Angie Terry of Oneida, TN;  ten grandchildren: Mackenzie Craig and Caleb, Courtney Craig, Trystan Craig, Gracie Acres, Noah Acres, Jaren Ginn, Addison Chambers, Klayton Chambers, Aspen Chambers, and Keiley Chambers all of Oneida; father-in-law Paul Chambers; brothers-in-law: Anthony Chambers and wife Diane, Bryan Chambers and wife Melody, and Jeff Chambers and wife Jennifer; sister-in-law Connie Burke; aunt Kay Lloyd of Huntsville, AL; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Friends may visit with the Craig family on Wednesday, November 29, 2017 from 6 p.m. until time of the funeral service at 8 p.m. in the chapel of Jones & Son Funeral Home with Bro. Bobby Hill and Bro. Paul Botts officiating. Music will be provided by Crystal Boyatt.

Graveside service will be on Thursday, November 30, 2017 at 11 a.m. in the West Family Cemetery in the Station Camp Community.  Serving as pallbearers will be: Jared Ginn, Caleb Sexton, Trystan Craig, Michael Smith, Ashley Acres, Tyler Botts, and Preston Botts.  Honorary pallbearers: Worley Hunt, David Hill, Sam King and Steve Burchfield.
