Janet Crabtree

Janet Crabtree, age 79 of Oneida, TN, passed away on Thursday, March 24, 2022, at the Parkwest Medical Center in Knoxville, TN.  Born December 16, 1942, she was the daughter of Tom West and Flora Pennington.  Janet professed her salvation and was a member of the Pine Creek Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband:  Russell L. Crabtree; brothers:  Roel Pennington, Danny Pennington, and Norman Pennington; sisters:  Delvena Weston, Shirley Davis, and Nancy Pennington.

Janet is survived by her daughters:  Shandi King, and Michelle Laxton and Fiancé Kenny Mullins; sons:  Russell Crabtree, Jr. and wife Kristie, and Peyton Schrock and wife Gabrielle; grandchildren:  Teddy King and Fiancée Tina King, Kristi Stanley and husband Jason, Matt King and Fiancée Ronda Carroll, Heather Hughett and husband Miles Baird, Jordan King and Fiancée Sloane Pemberton, Adam King and girlfriend Marie Bingham, Rashell Crabtree and boyfriend Brandon Meece, and Arya Schrock; great grandchildren:  Kyrah King, Alicyn King, Rieley King, Brycen King, Farrah Ellis, Brady King, River King, Dayson King, Makynlee Stanley, and Walker King; many very special nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Her wishes were to be cremated.

The family will be holding a small Memorial Service to honor Janet at the Oneida Church of God, 1100 Paint Rock Rd., Oneida, TN, on Saturday, April 2, 2022, from 2-4 p.m. with Rev. Chuck Jeffers officiating.
