Jeffery Griffith

Jeffery Mitchell ‘Jeff' Griffith, age 59 of Oneida, TN, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, October 3, 2020 with his loving wife by his side at the Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center in Knoxville, TN.  Born March 22, 1961 in Oneida, TN, he was the son of Belva Phillips Griffith Ward and the late Bob Griffith.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his grandparents:  Ralph Phillips and Rose Thompson Perkins, Elmer and Edna Griffith; nieces:  Alicia and Crystal Griffith; and mother-in-law:  Tina Dickerson.

In addition to his mother, Jeff is survived by his loving wife of 23 years:  Crystalle Griffith; children:  Hannah Griffith, who was known as Gabrielle by her daddy, and fiancé Logan, Whitney Elliott, who was known as Tree Frog by her daddy, and husband Mack, Joshua Griffith and fiancée Sydney, Jordan Griffith, who was known as JuJu by her daddy, and fiancé Zachary, Mitchell Griffith, Wade Griffith, Misty and Chris Chambers , Tyrell Jeffers, Marie and Toby Roark, Bethany and Trent Ivey, Scotty Faulkner and finance Marina; grandchildren:  RayRay, Adam, Thomas, Sarah, Austin, Chevy, Iris, Ellie, Elijah, Abinee, Kalob, Peyton, Emory, Tripp, Marley and Rayden; brother:  Donnie and Lisa Griffith; sisters:  Bobbi and Dick DeBord, Cheryl and Rick Humphrey, Sandy Newport, Decie and Mike Buttram and Nikki and Mike Sexton; and many nieces, nephews and other family members and friends that loved him very much.

Friends may visit with the Griffith family on Thursday, October 8, 2020 from 2:00 p.m. until time of funeral service at 4:00 p.m. at the House of the Lord located at 2025 Niggs Creek Rd. in Oneida, TN, with Pastor David Brewster and  Bro. Kermit Phillips officiating.  Music will be provided by:  Sam and Janet Yancey and Jennifer Hayes.

Committal service will follow in the Sexton Memorial Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be:  Donnie Griffith, Jesse Lawson, Billy Joe Griffith, River Sexton, Michael Willoughby and Anthony Duncan.  Honorary Pallbearers will be:  Terry Lawson, Eric Buttram, and Mike Sexton.

With the Health Guidelines in place at this time, we ask that you be mindful of the social distancing measures recommended by the Centers for Disease Control.  Masks are required.
