Jerry Dean Gibson, age 67 of the Low Gap community passed away on Sunday, November 24, 2024, at his home. Born in Scott County, TN on April 11, 1957, he was the son of the late Willie and Bertie (Byrd) Gibson. He was a member of Black Creek Crossroads Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Sherman Jr. and Christine Walker and a very special brother-in-law, Robert Lowe.
Jerry is survived by his wife of 42 years, Ranae Gibson; daughter, Jennifer and Eddie Dishman; grandchildren, Sidney Dishman, Riley Dishman, and Shelby Dishman; brothers, David and Linda Gibson of Annadale, Wayne and Cindy Gibson of Helenwood, and Doyle and Frances Gibson of Andersonville; brothers and sister-in-law, Joe and Jill Walker, Wade and Ruthie Walker, David and Felecia Walker, Velma and the late Robert Lowe, all of the Low Gap community; nieces and nephews, Josh and Breanna Gibson, Jessica and Chris Parton, Celia and Crestin Burton, Katrina and Stephen Barclay, Joe Stephens, Felicia Seiber, Brian and Melissa Gibson, Jason Gibson, Kate and Chris Pierce, Blake Lowe, Leigh Ann and Randy Henry, April and Chad Lowe, Travis and Sarah Walker, Skylar and Tressa Walker, Summer and Jason Kranz, Sherri and Jason Terry, and Clint Walker; many other relatives and friends.
Friends may visit with the Gibson family on Wednesday, November 27, 2024 from 11 a.m. until time of the funeral service at 12 p.m. in the chapel of West-Murley Funeral Home with Bro. David Gibson, Bro. Joe Walker, Bro. Jerry Byrge, and Bro. Dudley Harness officiating. Music will be provided by Will and Lisa Lawson and the Black Creek Crossroads choir.
Committal service will follow in the Black Creek Crossroads Cemetery in Robbins. Pallbearers will be: Josh Gibson, Chris Partin, Jaxon Partin, Chad Lowe, Ethan Lowe, and Blake Lowe.
