Joan Boutwell Obituary

Mary Joan Boutwell, age 79 of Oneida, TN passed away on Monday, October 4, 2021 at Huntsville Manor in Huntsville, TN. Born in Oneida, TN on July 7, 1942, she was the daughter of the late Fred and Lucy Hyder. She was a member of the First Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Bruce Slaven; second husband, Billy Boutwell; brother, Odie Phillips; sisters, Jean Crabtree and Clara Boshears.

Joan is survived by sons, Mark (Sherry) Slaven, Richard (LaBreeska) Slaven, James (Mary) Slaven; stepson, Jonathan Boutwell; 12 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; many other relatives and friends.

A Celebration of Life service will be planned for a later date.
