Joan Rector

Joan Rector, age 77 of Robbins, TN passed away on Friday, July 24, 2020 at her home. Born in Robbins, TN on April 18, 1943, she was the daughter of the late George D. Pemberton and Elsie Cook Pemberton.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, George D. Pemberton, Jr. and Glenn Pemberton; sisters, Bernice York, Geraldine (Gerry) Wassom, and Janice Farley; and spouse, Frank Rector.

Joan is survived by her sons, George Bradley (Charlotte), Doug Bertram (Jessica) and Gerald Bradley (Melody); daughter, Tommie Harness (Michael); grandsons, Patrick Hamby (Hannah), Derrick Hamby (Tyawa), Brian Bradley (Erika) and Joshua Crowley; granddaughters, Haley Bertram, Ashlyn Bertram, Amanda Stephens (Terry) and Tanique Goad; great grandson, Tyler Hamby; great granddaughter, Briella Hamby; special sister, Judy Ann Parker; several nieces and nephews, many other relatives and special friends.

Friends may visit with the Rector family on Friday, July 31, 2020 from 5 p.m. until 6 p.m. in the chapel of West-Murley Funeral Home.

Committal service will follow in the Kilbeck Cemetery in the Black Creek community. Music will be provided by the family. Family will serve as pallbearers.
