Joeldean Piercy Taubert, age 81 of Robbins, TN went home to the Lord peacefully in her sleep on Sunday, March 17, 2024. She was a member of Trinity Baptist Church and spent her life as a loving stay-at-home wife and mother.
This verse was specifically marked by Joeldean, and I believe it sums up Joeldean’s journey home beautifully, Job 23:10-12 (KJV): 10But He knoweth the way that I take: when He hath tried me, I shall come forth as gold. 11My foot hath held his steps, His way have I kept, and not declined. 12Neither have I gone back from the commandment of his lips; I have esteemed the words of his mouth more than my necessary food.
Mrs. Taubert was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur O. Taubert, Jr. and her parents, Joel Piercy and Helen Toomey Piercy.
She is survived by her son, Aaron Taubert of Robbins, TN; 3 grandsons, Derek (Heather) Taubert of Robbins, TN, Scott (Jordan) Taubert of Clinton, TN, and Marcus Taubert of Joplin, MO; her sister, Judy (Paul) Sexton; brother-in-law, Doyle Taubert; sisters-in-law, Ernestine Sharp and Pam Taubert; 8 great-grandchildren, Troy Dean, Ally, Zoey, Tinlee, Jade, Maddox, Briggs, and Penelope; lots of loving nieces, nephews, cousins, church family, friends, and neighbors.
Friends may visit with the Taubert family on Friday, March 22, 2024 from 5 p.m. until time of the funeral service at 7 p.m. in the chapel of West-Murley Funeral Home with Bro. Dilbert Terry officiating. Music will be provided by the Trinity Girls.
