Jordan 'Seth' York

Jordan ‘Seth’ York, age 29 of Oneida, TN, passed away on Tuesday, November 10, 2020 at the University of Tennessee Medical Center in Knoxville, TN.  Born on August 4, 1991 in Knoxville, TN, he was the son of Howard York and the late Shawna Maria Thompson Corder.  Seth was a member of the Elgin Church of Christ.

In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his step-mother:  Teresa Powers; grandparents:  Dwayne and Wanda Phillips.

Seth is survived by his wife:  Madeline York; children:  Emmaleia, Lily and Jordyn York; father:  Howard York; sister:  Paige Butts and husband Jacob; nieces and nephews:  Khloe, Tyson, Gunnar and Gracie Butts; brother:  Kanyon Corder; step-brothers:  Cory and John Corder; aunts:  Teresa York, Misty Duque, and Tonja (Danny) Draughn; cousins:  Jessie, Jared, Tasha, Mikey, Jason Draughn, and McKayla (Josh) Miller; grandmother:  Patricia Creekmore Foster; grandfathers:  Willie Thompson and Howard York, Sr.; great grandmother: Clara Creekmore; great aunt and uncle:  Debbie and Steve Thompson; mother and father-in-law:  Melinda and Buddy McCartt; brothers-in-law:  Gregory Miller and Alex McCartt; and many other family members and friends.

Friends may visit with the York family on Friday, November 13, 2020 from 5 p.m. until 6:45 p.m. in the chapel of Jones & Son Funeral Home with a private family funeral service to follow.

Committal service will be held on Saturday, November 14, 2020 at 1 p.m. at Diamond Cemetery in the Wolf Creek community.
