Joseph Burke

Joseph Russell Burke nickname of “Jo Jo” age 66 of Oneida, Tennessee passed away on Wednesday, May 14, 2025.

Born on August 19, 1958, in Cincinnati, Ohio, he was the son of George W. Burke and Lola Boyatt. 

Joseph Burke was raised by Pauline Boyatt-Noland in Oneida, Tennessee. 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by Pauline, his brother Gilbert, and sister Susan.

He is survived by his two boys Greg (Katie) Burke and Garrett (Sam) Burke of Cincinnati, Ohio, known by many as “The Boys.” In addition, Joseph Burke had 3 granddaughters, Aubrey Burke, Faith Burke, and Gracelee Burke. Joseph also leaves behind other relatives and friends. 

Joseph Burke was known by many in the community as the “Tile Doctor” or the guy with a sign that read “Free Kittens” in front of his residence along Coopertown Road. 

Joseph Burke was cremated and returned to Cincinnati, Ohio.
