Joyce Harness

Joyce Ann Sexton Harness, age 75 of Pioneer, TN gained her wings on Friday, October 14, 2022. Born on July 8, 1947, she was the oldest of 10 children of the late Cosby Sexton and Pauline Laxton Sexton.

In addition to her parents, she was met in heaven by her husband of 57 years, Chester Harness; a grandson, AJ Jeffers; one sister and four brothers.

Joyce is survived by her children, Pam and husband Kevin Jeffers, Chris and wife Shannon Harness and McKinley Chester Harness (Ken); 10 grandkids, Randall KC Jeffers and wife Tracey, Johnathon Jeffers and Julieanna Bell, Christa Harness, Dylan Cole Harness, Kaynan Harness, McKinley Chester Harness, Jr. and Alexi Goodman, Tequila Harness, Maleki Harness, Briar Harness, and Myron Harness; one grandson by heart, Caleb Cotton and Hailey Walker; one great granddaughter, Wrenleigh Mae Seiber; favorite sister, Coline West and brother-in-law she thought was perfect; one very special nephew, Zachary Allred; many other relatives and friends. Joyce was loved and will be missed by everyone that knew her.

Friends may visit with the Harness family on Friday, October 21, 2022 from 12 p.m. until time of the funeral service at 1 p.m. in the chapel of West-Murley Funeral Home with Bro. Bobby Joe Williams officiating. Music will be provided by the Mason Family.

Committal service will follow in the Bull Creek Cemetery in Huntsville. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
