Junior Garrett

Junior Garrett, age 86 of Robbins, Tennessee, departed this life on Sunday, August 12, 2018. Junior was born on October 16, 1931 in Fentress County, Tennessee to the late Oral Garrett and Nola Shoemaker Garrett and loving stepfather Marshall Garrett. Junior is a member of Low Gap Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother: Oscar Garrett and wife Dona Cotton Garrett and second wife Hazel Lilly Garrett; sister: Wilma Garrett Cotton and husband Tommy Cotton; brother-in-law: Norma Lilly; infant sister: Roxy Garrett.

He is survived by his wife of 65 years: Jane Todd Garrett; daughter: Angela “Terri” Keeton and husband Harris; son: Theodore “Teddy” Garrett and wife Shenna and Timothy “Tim” Garrett and wife Sandra; a very special niece: Angie Todd York; sister: Marie Garrett Lilly; brother: Marrian Garrett and wife Pansy granddaughters: Jatolia Keeton McDowell and husband Chad, Tressa Garrett West Walker and husband Skyler; grandsons: Wesley Garrett, Gage Garrett, and Theo Garrett. Great grandchildren: Kendyl West, Taite West, Elli West, Cannon Brady McDowell, and many more loving relatives and friends.

The Family would like to thank The Summit View Nursing Home in Rocky Top, TN for all their hard work and dedication to Papaw Junior. The staff at Summit View showed excellent care and concern while treating us like family. 

Friends may visit with the Garrett family on Sunday, August 19, 2018 from 1 p.m. until time of the memorial service at 3 p.m. in the chapel of West-Murley Funeral Home with Bro. Mike Smithers officiating. Music will be provided by the Shoemaker family.

Junior requested cremation.
