Obituary
Katrina Jeanine ‘Nanny’ Spurlock, age 67, of Corryton, TN, was called home to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 2, 2023. She was born March 16, 1956, in Oneida, Scott County, TN, to the late Bob and June Stanley.
In addition to her parents, Nanny was preceded in death by her son: Craig Curtis Henry; granddaughter: Angel Suzanne Henry; brother: Kevin Dewayne Stanley; grandparents: Helen and Audley Smith, and Reuben and Bertha Stanley.
Nanny is survived by her husband: Paul Taylor Spurlock; son: Christopher Henry (Kayla Best); granddaughters: Emily Bates (Tyler), Brianna Anderson (Roy ‘Robo’ Anderson), and Kerstin Henry; grandsons: Tyler Henry (Kallie Ridgely), Sabin Henry (Brianna Pittman), and Braylen Henry; great grandbabies: Samuel, Lilyana, Aiden, Addy, Grayson and Blakeleigh; uncle: Jim Smith (Deana Smith); as well as other family members and friends.
Katrina devoted her whole life to her family. She was especially dedicated to her 4 grandchildren whom she raised. She was a caregiver to her husband Paul since 2008 when he suddenly suffered a stroke.
Friends may visit with the Spurlock family on Monday, July 10, 2023, from 12:00 p.m. until time of funeral service at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Jones & Son Funeral Home with Pastor Bob Cleveland officiating.
Committal service will follow in the Marcum Cemetery. Pallbearers will be: Tyler, Sabin, Robo, Tyler (Red) and Charlie.
