Kelley Terry, age 93 of Oneida, TN passed away on Saturday, January 16, 2021 at his home with his loving wife and family by his side. Kelley was born on April 19, 1927. Kelley was a World War II Veteran. He was stationed in Italy where he proudly served his country. Kelley was an employee of Burchfield School where he retired. He was a member of New Haven Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Maggie Terry; siblings, Kenneth Terry, Caney Terry, and Dorothy Phillips; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Juber and Thelma Blevins; brother-in-law, Prent Blevins; sister-in-law, Alene and husband Paul K. King.
Kelley is survived by his wife of 70 years, Clara Terry; sister-in-law, Peggy Blevins; nephews, Kelley Lynn Blevins, Richard (Rick) King and wife Marilyn, Bryan Paul King and wife April; nieces, Leah Sexton and husband Richard, Annelliese Prent Blevins; great nephews, Evan and Ethan Sexton, Stephen King, and Tyler Arnold; great nieces, Jessica Owens and husband Jimmy, Rhyan King-Pennington and husband Duff, Morgan Shepard, Miranda King, and Emalea Sexton; great-great nieces, Alex and Shayne King, Charlee Shepard, and Savana Shepard; great-great nephews, Jordan and Logan Chambers; special friends, Conale Bridges, Lloyd Lee, Jerry Terry, Randy Shelton, Joe Slaven, Rick Shelton, Ned Duncan, and Gene Bond; and many other relatives and friends. Thanks to the nurses and caregivers, Cathy, Brian, and Sherry for all their care.
Graveside service will be on Monday, January 18, 2021 at 4 p.m. in the Smith-Forbis Cemetery in Oneida with Bro. Bradley Kidd officiating.
