Kenneth David “K. D.” Reed age 67 of Helenwood, TN, passed away on Saturday, April 23, 2022, at his home surrounded by family and friends. Born February 17, 1955, he was the son of Louise Reed and the late Boyd E. Reed.

K.D. worked as an industrial electrician, was a member of IBEW Local 175, a ham radio operator (KQ4CO), a photography and wildlife enthusiast, and loved riding his Harley. K. D. was a Veteran of the United States Navy, having served during Vietnam.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his father-in-law: Merrill R. Stephens; brothers-in-law: Merrill Wayne Stephens, and Charles Thomas Groff III.

K.D. is survived by his wife of 33 years: Pamela June Stephens Reed; mother: Louise Reed; brother: Bill Dunlap and wife Susan; children: Shane Reed and wife Sara, Liana Spradlin and husband Sean, Samantha Cresap and husband Michael; grandchildren: Zhaan, Riana, Jacob, Hayden, Karleigh, Gabriel, and Sophia; as well as other family members and friends.

Friends may visit with the Reed family on Tuesday, April 26, 2022, from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Jones & Son Funeral Home.
