Kenneth Russell (Kenny) Galen

Kenneth Russell (Kenny) Galen, age 59, passed away peacefully on January 16, 2025, at his home in Oneida, Tennessee. Born on March 16, 1965, in Maryland, Kenny was a cherished member of the Oneida Church of Christ.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Russell and Lavene Galen, and brother Orrin Joudrey, of Maryland.

Kenny is survived by his sisters in Maryland: Deana Fields and Jennifer Bowden.  For the past 21 years, Kenny was lovingly embraced as a part of the Armstrong family, who became his steadfast support and joy. He is survived by his “Dad” and “Mom,” Steve and Kathy Armstrong; his “Brother,” Lee Armstrong; his “Sister” and “Brother-in-Law,” Amanda and Jared Terry; his “Sister-in-Law,” Beth Burchfield Armstrong; and his cherished “Nieces” and “Nephews,” Jayden and Taylor Terry, Sarah, Kaleb, and Easton Armstrong.  The family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Lori Weathers, FNP, and the compassionate staff at Grace Primary Care, Quality Home Health Care, Quality Private Duty, and Oneida Nursing and Rehab, whose care and support meant so much to Kenny.

In accordance with Kenny’s wishes, cremation will take place, and no formal funeral services will be held.
