Linda Boshears, 73, was welcomed into heaven on January 11, 2026. She was born on June 27, 1952, and spent her life loving fiercely, giving generously, and placing her family at the center of everything she did.
Linda was the kind of woman who made people feel safe, heard, and loved. Her home and her heart were always open. She found her greatest joy in caring for her family and took deep pride in being a wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Her faith was a steady foundation throughout her life, and she was a faithful member of Norma Baptist Church, where she drew strength and comfort.
She leaves behind her devoted husband, Curtis Boshears; her children Tonia Mehlhorn (Mike) and Chad West (Rhonda); and her cherished bonus daughters Casey Stephens, Cyndi Sharpe (Dave), and Brittany Young (Corry). She is also survived by her siblings Loretta Pippin (Rick), Wayne Botts (Mildred), and Paul Botts (Tina).
Linda is further survived by her brothers- and sisters-in-law Junior Boshears (Jennifer), Paul Boshears (Valerie), Bonnie Murley (Johnny), Geneva Hatfield, Janetta Davis (Ted), Loretta Hatfield, Gary Boshears (Carol), Junior Smith and Benton Lawson, all of whom held a special place in her life.
Linda’s love lives on through her grandchildren: Lindsay Jobe (Joseph), Westley Mehlhorn, Christin Douglas, Chelsey Whited (Robbie), Madison West, Raylin West, Lily Burke (Jonah), Jacob Lay (Jasmine), Jordan Lay, Maddie Lay, Lyndsey Pennington (Aaron), Kolton Stephens (Brianna), Wyatt Stephens, Macy-Lea Phillips, Billy Phillips, Anna Young, Riley Young, and Dylan Young.
She was also blessed with great-grandchildren Lainey and Deacon Jobe, Emma Brown, Railey, Tyson, and Titus Pennington, Emily, Mason, and Ella Douglas, and Bretley, Brooklyn, Raelyn, Harper, Brennan, and Emryn Stephens, each one a light in her life and a joy she treasured.
She was preceded in death by her precious daughter Misty Strunk, whose loss she carried in her heart; her parents Bernard and Lily Ruth Botts; her grandparents; and her siblings Michael, Steve, Jerry, and Gary Botts, and Bernadene Lawson.
Though our hearts are broken, we take comfort in knowing Linda is reunited with those she loved and is now at peace in the presence of her Savior. Her love, her faith, and her gentle spirit will live on through every life she touched.
