Lindsey Sexton

Lindsey Sexton, age 77 of Huntsville, Tennessee passed away on Thursday, June 13, 2019 at his home. Born in Scott County, TN on December 3, 1941, he was the son of the late Big Sam and Lessy Lucile Sexton.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 39 years, Mary E. (Sue) Crowley Sexton; daughter, Sueann Crowley; brothers, Hollis Sexton, Leo Sexton, Ezar Sexton, Larry Sexton and William Lonzo Sexton; sisters, Ceila Sexton, Emaline Sexton, Crease Sexton, Shelby Jean Sexton Ellis, Reba Mae (Sexton) Thacker and Janet Sue Boshears Williams.

Lindsey is survived by his children, Linda Sue, Jeffrey Shane, Paula Fae, Bobby Jo, Ella Faye, Patti Lind and husband Jerry, David and wife Lena Mae, Sandy Sue and fiancé Rick, Dweisa, Lyn, Lindsey Danelle, Tasha Leigh and fiancé Coty; sisters, Mary Elisabeth (Sexton) Hunt and Martha Ellen Boshears; 30 grandkids; 17 great grandkids; 1 great, great grandkid; and many other relatives and friends.

Friends may visit with the Sexton family on Sunday, June 16, 2019 from 12 p.m. until time of the funeral service at 3 p.m. in the chapel of West-Murley Funeral Home.

Burial will follow in the Sexton-Crowley Cemetery in Huntsville.
