Linford (Crow) Sexton

Linford (Crow) Sexton, age 75 of Oneida, TN passed away on Thursday, June 2, 2022, at the Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center in Knoxville, TN. Born in Oneida, TN on March 11, 1947, he was the son of the late Chester and Oma (Acres) Sexton. He was a Deacon at Pentecost Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Jean Thasher and Sue Griffith; brothers, Albert Sexton and Charles Sexton; mother and father-in-law, Ivory and Junior Wright.

He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Sharon Sexton; sisters, Sheila and husband Gary Byrd and Sandra and husband Mike Crabtree; brothers, Milford Sexton and Lewis Sexton and wife Judy; sisters-in-law, Jeannie Sexton of Indianapolis, Indiana and Lora and Tommy Litton; brothers-in-law, Jerry and Mickie Wright, Gary Wright, and Charlie Griffith; many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Crow also leaves behind two very special great nephews, which he adored and helped raise, Joshua and Mason Terry.

Friends may visit with the Sexton family on Saturday, June 4, 2022 from 12 p.m. until time of the funeral service at 1 p.m. in the chapel of West-Murley Funeral Home with Bro. Tim Hicks and Bro. Charles West officiating. Music will be provided by the Sexton family.

Committal service will follow in the Cross Cemetery in Winfield. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
