Lisa Sue Rosser

Lisa Sue Rosser, age 65, of Helenwood, TN, passed away on Thursday, December 14, 2023, at the Big South Fork Medical Center in Oneida, TN.  Born April 19, 1958, in Scott County, she was the daughter of the late Johnny Rosser and Janice Litton Rosser Ballard.

Lisa enjoyed a life rich with family connections and a love for nature. She often ventured outdoors to hike and explore, embracing the beauty and tranquility of God’s creation. As a devoted mother, grandmother, and aunt, Lisa’s happiest moments were those spent surrounded by loved ones. She found immense happiness in their company, nurturing these relationships with genuine care and affection. Her tenderness and compassion left a lasting impression on those who knew her.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her step-father:  William Ballard; and step-mother Pat Rosser.

Lisa is survived by her children:  Amanda Gienow and partner Tom of Knoxville, TN, and Josh Terry and wife Jessica of Winfield, TN; grandchildren:  Cassidy Gienow, Eli Krahn, Haidin Gienow, and Katie Gienow; siblings:  Holly Babb of Helenwood, TN, Matt Rosser, and Billy Ballard of Cincinnati, OH; nephews:  Will Ballard, and Brad Goodman; niece:  Candice Goodman; and many special nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Friends may visit with the Rosser family on Tuesday, December 19, 2023, from 4:00 p.m. until time of a Celebration of Life service at 6:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Jones & Son Funeral Home with Bro. Jim West officiating.  Music will be provided by Chloe Litton.

Lisa’s wishes were cremation.
