Lola Faye (Cooper) Bowling

Lola Faye Cooper Bowling, age 73, of the Black Oak Community in Oneida, TN, passed away on Sunday, July 20, 2025, at the North Knoxville Medical Center in Powell, TN.  Born June 20, 1952, she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Clona Bell Cooper.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband:  David W. Bowling; brother:  Herman Cooper; infant granddaughter:  Savannah Walters; grandsons:  Joshua and Kaden Walters.

Lola is survived by her sisters:   Barbara and Rockie Helton, and Vicey and Gary Terry, all of Oneida; Bonnie and Tim Grooms of KY; brothers:  Tony Cooper, Arnold Cooper, Glen and Regina Cooper, Charlie and Teresa Cooper, John Cooper and Sheila, all of Oneida; daughter:  Weatherly Walters and husband Ronnie; grandkids:  Larissa and Trent Vanover, Cameron and Ashlynn Walters, Braden Walters and Adaliah; great grandkids:  Wyatt, Joshlyn and Calix Vanover, Easton and Raelynn ‘Ocean’ Walters; as well as many other relatives and friends. 

In honoring Lola’s wishes, the family will hold a private graveside service.
