Lonna Lee (Goodman) Cross

Lonna Lee Goodman Cross, age 65, of the Paint Rock Community in Oneida, TN, passed away on Thursday, November 20, 2025, at her home, surrounded by loved ones.  She was a member of the Macedonia Christian Center.  Born August 10, 1960, she was the daughter of the late Hoyle and Ella Jean Wilson Goodman.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband and father of her children:  R. J. Cross; daughters:  Rebecca and Sabrina Cross; brothers:  Jr. and J. V. (Kathy) Goodman; sister:  Donna Jeffers; and several nieces, nephews and in-laws.

Lonna is survived by her son:  Joshua Cross; step-sons:  Chris and David Cross of Cleveland; sisters:  Annie Thompson, Linda Smith, Ella Strunk (Carl), Essie Bauswell (Wayne), Freda Bowling (Gorden), and Lisa Robbins; brothers:  Vaughn Goodman (Tommie), Dennis (Duke) Goodman (Jenny), Luster Goodman (Vicky), Curtis Goodman, Rick Goodman (Jennifer), and Jeffery Goodman (Charlotte); sister-in-law:  Nelda Goodman; special cousin:   Ervin Sexton; as well as many other family members and friends.  The family wishes to extend a special Thank You to her nurse from Covenant Health.

Friends may visit with the Cross Family on Monday, November 24, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. until time of funeral service at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of West-Murley Funeral Home with Bro. Randall Duncan officiating.  Music will be provided by Randall Duncan.

Committal service will follow in the Peaceful Rose Garden Cemetery in Oneida.  Pallbearers will be family and friends.
