Lourene O. Jeffers

Lourene O. Jeffers, age 97 of Oneida, TN passed away on Monday, April 20, 2026, at the Oneida Nursing & Rehab Center. Born in Scott County, TN on January 23, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Lewis and Julia Owens. She was a member of the Pine Hill Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her spouse, Tommy Jeffers; siblings, Retha Partin (John) and Kenneth Owens; two daughters, Diana Jeffers and Wanda Jeffers.

Lourene is survived by her daughter, Pat Puckett and husband Mike; siblings, Judy Damron and Jerry Owens (Dorothy). She also leaves grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews, many other relatives and friends.

Friends may visit with the Jeffers family on Thursday, April 23, 2026 from 11 a.m. until 12 p.m. in the chapel of West-Murley Funeral Home.

A graveside service will follow in the Hazel Valley Memorial Cemetery in Oneida with Bro. Delyn Phillips officiating. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
