Markus Kenneth Selvidge

Markus Kenneth Selvidge, age 52 of Helenwood, TN, passed away on Wednesday, July 22, 2020 at his home.  Born October 18, 1967 in Oneida, TN, he was the son of the late Green and Wilma Smith Selvidge.

In addition to his parents, Markus was preceded in death by his sister:  Carol Phillips of Ohio.

Markus is survived by his wife:  Karen Murley Selvidge; daughters:  Heidi Jo Thomas, Sarah (Hughett) Myers and husband Jordan, and Megan (Hughett) Perry and husband Stephen; mother and father-in-law:  John and Bonnie Murley; sisters:  Rose Anna Carter (Ron) of Florida, Fran Selvidge Jeffers of Huntsville, Betty Soesbee of Oklahoma, Jean Selvidge of Ohio, and Lisa S. Phillips of Oneida; brothers:  Wayne Selvidge (Winnie), and Benny Selvidge (Lana), both of Oneida; brother-in-law:  Keith Murley (Michele) of Helenwood; grandchildren:  Skyler, Eli, Jase and Emi; several nieces and nephews; and many other family members and friends.

Friends may visit with the Selvidge family on Saturday, July 25, 2020 from 3:00 p.m. until time of funeral service at 4:00 p.m. in the Chapel of West-Murley Funeral Home with Bro. Jackie Butts officiating.  Music will be provided by Daniel and Nancy Murley.

Committal service will follow in the Fairview Memorial Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be:  Logan Sexton, Brandon Sexton, Jason Burchfield, Travis Selvidge, Keith Murley and Jordan Myers.

With the Health Guidelines in place at this time, we ask that you be mindful of the social distancing measures recommended by the Centers for Disease Control. Masks are required.
