Mary Lou Jeffers, age 74 of Huntsville, TN passed away on Tuesday, December 27, 2022, at the Big South Fork Medical Center in Oneida, TN. Born in Jellico, TN on February 9, 1948, she was the daughter of the late Arvil and Loula Cooper. Mary loved everything with all family and friends, enjoyed all animals, loved listening to gospel music, enjoyed cooking and helping people. She was a homemaker who enjoyed gardening and her favorite flower was marigold.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Charles Jeffers; sister, Betty Fitzgerald; brothers, Lindell Cooper, Clinton Cooper, and Houston Cooper.
Mary is survived by her children, Bobby and wife Beth Lawson, Ronald Lawson, Vicky and husband Benji Waldroup, Jimmy Lee and wife Jessica Jeffers; grandchildren, Monica, Shanika (David), Carrie, Sierra, Dakota, Ozzy, Damian, Lilyona, Zendaya; multiple great grandchildren; brothers, Cleatus and wife Karen Cooper, Ricky and wife Teresa Cooper, Dewayne and wife Anita Cooper; sister, Pansy Byrge; many nephews, nieces, other family members and friends she loved.
Friends may visit with the Jeffers family on Friday, December 30, 2022 from 12 p.m. until time of the funeral service at 1 p.m. in the chapel of West-Murley Funeral Home with Bro. Mark Muse officiating. Music will be provided by the family.
Committal service will follow in the Hazel Valley Memorial Cemetery in Oneida.
