Mary Sue Crabtree Obituary

Mary Sue Crabtree, age 85 of Winfield, TN, passed away on Friday, July 10, 2020 at Oneida Nursing and Rehab Center. Born in Scott County, TN October 15, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Theodore and Flora Chitwood Crabtree. She was a long time member of the Second Bethlehem Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Absalom (Abb) Everett Crabtree, her grandmother who raised her, Ada Murphy Chitwood Blevins, special aunt, Beulah Carson, and brothers John and Andrew J. Crabtree.

She is survived by daughters Sandra Cecil (Joe) of Knoxville, TN, Rhonda Crabtree (Steve) of Winfield, TN; sons Brian Crabtree (Jenny) of Lenoir City, TN and Mark Crabtree of Winfield, TN; grandsons Steven Crabtree (Kesha) of Winfield and Jacob Cecil of Knoxville; great grandchildren Logan Crabtree and Sophia Crabtree of Winfield; brother Theodore Crabtree (Christine) of Grovetown, GA.; and many other family members and friends.

Interment was in the Chitwood Cemetery in Winfield.
