Milford E. Duncan Obituary

Milford Edward Duncan, age 86 of Oneida, TN passed away on Friday, March 28, 2025, at his home. Born in Scott County, TN on May 10, 1938, he was the son of the late George and Nancy Cotton Duncan.

He was a retired coal miner. Milford enjoyed raising and working with cattle and working in his garden. He dedicated his life to Christ at an early age and was of the Baptist faith. He enjoyed watching the various local church services from his home.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Jerry, John Archie, Earl Jr., Joe and Mountie Duncan; sister, Linda Crowley;  father-in-law, Jim Norman; and mother-in-law, Bonnie Renoe Dishman.

Milford is survived by his wife of 61 years, Wanda Duncan; two daughters, Teresa Greene of Oneida, Shirleen and Lisa Duncan of GA; son, Eddie Duncan of Oneida; three grandsons, Kellan, Michael, and Cash, all of Oneida; two granddaughters, Tasha Greene of NC and Keisha Greene of Helenwood; five great grandkids; sisters, Martha and Kizzie Duncan and Reba Smith all of Oneida. He also leaves many other relatives and friends.

Friends may visit with the Duncan family on Sunday, March 30, 2025 from 2 p.m. until time of the funeral service at 3 p.m. in the chapel of West-Murley Funeral Home with Bro. Randall Duncan officiating.

Committal service will follow in the Duncan Cemetery in Oneida. Pallbearers will be: Travis Duncan, Ronnie Duncan, Kellan Duncan, Michael Duncan, John Terry, and Eddie Duncan.
