Mitchell Lynn Marlow, age 73, passed away peacefully at his home on Wednesday, June 5, 2024. He had several businesses in Oneida over the years, Mitchell's Trading Post, M&M Machine Shop, and M&M Leather Shop. He also taught machine shop at Oneida/Huntsville Area Vocational School for 32 years. He was a member of Pine Hill Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his father, Maxwell Marlow; grandparents, Maney and Alva Marlow, R.L. and Cassel Stanley and Melbert Ellis; and sister-in-law, Donna Marlow.
Mitchell is survived by his wife of almost 48 years, Neva Sue Marlow; son, Mitchell Clint Marlow; mother of his three grandchildren, Amanda Hammock; grandsons, David and Maxton; granddaughter, Shelby, whom he loved very much; mother, Zora Marlow; brother, Keith Marlow; nieces, Andrea Marlow and Rachel Litton and husband Jeremy; cousin, Carrie Ellis; and many other family members and friends. He will be missed by all.
Friends may visit with the Marlow family on Monday, June 10, 2024 from 12 p.m. until time of the funeral service at 1 p.m. in the chapel of West-Murley Funeral Home with Bro. Dean Barnes officiating.
Committal service will follow in the Pine Hill Cemetery in Oneida. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
