Naomi Lee Bond

Naomi Lee (nee Cook) Bond of Pleasant Plain, OH. Born on December 1,1941 in Tyner, KY. to the late Ernest and Irene (nee McWhorter) Cook. Went home to be with the Lord on August 24, 2020 at the age of 78.

Beloved wife of Everett Harold Bond and the late Chester Hayes Jr. Loving mother of James (late Jeanette) Hayes, Deborah (Glenn) Blankenship, Rebecca (Scott) Koehnke, Barbara (Gary) Benedict and Steve (Annette) Bond. Caring grandmother of Casey (Jeffrey) Johnson, Jimmy (Taylor) Hayes, Sarah Blankenship, Jack Blankenship, Kristin (Eric) Hacker, Madison Koehnke, Brooke Koehnke, Christina Benedict, Rachel Benedict, Elizabeth Bond, Meredith Bond and Gerit Bond. Proud great-grandmother of Cailee Johnson, Max Johnson, Makayla Hacker, Emmie Hacker, Scarlett Hacker, Joseph Poeler and Everlee Bond. Dear sister of Norma (late Dorsie) Wright and Sue (Willie) Strong. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and many dear friends.

Naomi was a member of Mt. Carmel Missionary Baptist Church and regularly attended Riverside Missionary Baptist Church.

Services will be held on Thursday, August 27, 1 PM at Tufts Schildmeyer Funeral Home, 1668 St. Rt. 28, Goshen, where friends will be received from 11 AM until the time of service. Live streaming of the service will begin at 12:50 PM at www.tuftsschildmeyer.com.

Interment, Graceland Memorial Gardens, Milford, OH.
