Nellie Myers Obituary

Nellie Myers, age 92, departed this life on Wednesday, April 13, 2022, at the Oneida Nursing and Rehab Center in Oneida, TN. Nellie was born on December 22, 1929, in Rugby, TN to the late Ella and Estel Berry. Nellie enjoyed reading her Bible, attending church, and loved worshipping her Lord and Savior.

Nellie is preceded in death by her husband, Leon Myers of Elgin and sisters, Violet French, Jackie, Carol, and Jean.

Nellie is survived by her daughter, Glenda Sue of Texas; spiritual daughters, Karen Myers of Robbins, TN and Terrie Lynn Lawson of Magnolia, Delaware; a special friend and brother-in-law, Roscoe "Rock" Blevins of Oneida, TN; many other relatives and friends. A special thank you to Nellie's additional "family" at Oneida Nursing and Rehab who treated her with kindness and loving care.

A graveside service will be held at a later date.
