Omer Preston

Omer Harrison Preston, age 74 of Robbins, TN passed away on Tuesday, March 18, 2025, at Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center. Born in Scott County, TN on April 23, 1950, he was the son of the late Elmer and Edith Bell Preston and was raised by Carol Reagan Preston.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Ronnie Preston and two half-brothers.

Omer is survived by his wife, Vickie Richardson Preston; sons, Joe William and Stephen Preston and wife Tametha; daughter, Alice and Brian Bowling; grandchildren, Tyler, Addison, Ayden, Eva, Ember, and Anna; one great-grandson, Tucker; step-granddaughter, Tiffany; five sisters; three step-grandchildren, Nolan, Noah, and Blake; many other relatives and friends.

Friends may visit with the Preston family on Friday, March 21, 2025 from 6 p.m. until time of the funeral service at 7 p.m. in the chapel of West-Murley Funeral Home with Bro. Phillip Kidd officiating.

Committal service will be on Saturday, March 22, 2025 at 11 a.m. in the Litton Cemetery in Oneida. Pallbearers will be: Joe, William, Brian, Stephen, Nolan and Noah.
