Richard Pemberton

Richard Allen Pemberton, age 74, of Helenwood, Tennessee passed away on Friday, January 10, 2025, at Huntsville Post-Acute Rehabilitation Center in Huntsville, TN. Born in Oneida, Tennessee on September 22, 1950, he was the son of the late Church and Wilma Polly Pemberton.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Minnie Lee Pemberton; brother, Otis Pemberton; five (5) brothers-in-law, Pete Lawson, JC Lawson, Donald Ray Lawson, Eldridge Lawson, Bobby Lawson; two (2) sisters-in law, Ellie Mae Phillips and Frankie June Van Raalte.

Ricky is survived by daughter, Carletta Brown and husband Joey, daughter Lechia Terry; brother, Perry Pemberton and wife Sandy of Helenwood; sister-in-law, Pauline Pemberton; six (6) grandchildren, Jessica Reynolds, Jeffery Harness, Leanna Harness, Tasha Terry and Cody Terry; special friends, Johnny "Jay Bird" Green, Bobby Huffman and Gary Reagan. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives.

On behalf of the Pemberton Family, a special thank you to all of the staff at Huntsville Post-Acute Rehabilitation Center for the kindness, loving care and friendship so freely given to Ricky.

As per Ricky's request, no funeral or memorial service will be held.
