Richard A. Crabtree

Richard Allen Crabtree, age 70 of Winfield, TN passed away on Thursday, January 23, 2025, at the Turkey Creek Medical Center in Knoxville, TN. Born in Scott County, TN on May 28, 1954, he was the son of the late John R. Crabtree and Essie (Ramsey) Crabtree.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his nephew, Seth Ramsey Crabtree.

Richard is survived by his wife, Kathy Crabtree; sons, Richard (Bud) Crabtree and Arien Wisner; granddaughters, Rainah (Crabtree) Byrd and Aliyah Crabtree; great grandkids, Brayden Crabtree, Raylan Crabtree, Sawyer Orick, and Kysleigh Byrd; brothers, Mike Crabtree and wife Lorri, Bruce Crabtree and wife Lainill; sisters, Marilyn Spears and husband Richard and Keeshia Casada; nephews, Ben Crabtree, Drew Crabtree, Harley Wisner, Chris Wisner, and Noah Crabtree; nieces, Shelby Smith, Darsey Crabtree, Cheroth Crabtree, and Jenna Crabtree; many other relatives and friends.

Friends may visit with the Crabtree family on Thursday, January 30, 2025 from 1 p.m. until time of the funeral service at 2 p.m. in the chapel of West-Murley Funeral Home with Rev. Robert Blankenship officiating. Music will be provided by Katelynn Clippinger.

Committal service will follow in the Walker Cemetery in Winfield. Pallbearers will be: Ray King, Randy King, Mike Strunk, Wesley Chambers, Chuck Chambers, and Aaron King.
