Ricky Erwin Slaven, age 59 of Oneida, TN passed away on Monday, October 4, 2021, at home. He was born on April 13, 1962, at the Scott County Hospital in Oneida, TN to Cleo Slaven and Phyllis Trosper Slaven.

He was preceded in death by his father, Cleo Slaven; grandparents, Walter and Eva Slaven and Ewell and Mildred Trosper; his brother, Randy A. Slaven; 4 uncles, George and Ralph Trosper and Warren and Audie Slaven.

Ricky is survived by his mother, Phyllis Slaven; one daughter, Terrie Lynn Slaven; 2 sons, Ricky Lee Slaven and Jordan Andrew McCoy; 6 grandchildren, Rylin Duncan, MaKhylin Duncan, Kilee Slaven, Arianna Slaven, Carter Slaven, and John Allen; 4 sisters, Sherry New, Sandy Slaven, Mary Stapleton, Julie Jeffers and husband Dustin; 2 uncles, Clarence Trosper and R.O. Slaven; 2 aunts, Linda Hamby and Jewel Trosper; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
