Sara Stephens

Sara Elizabeth Stephens, age 62 of Winfield, TN passed away suddenly on Tuesday, August 30, 2022, at the Big South Fork Medical Center in Oneida, TN. She was born on October 18, 1959, to the late Carthell and Rosa Stephens of Winfield. Sara was a member of Winfield Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Stephens; grandparents, Earl and Elizabeth Stringfield Stephens and Jefferson and Flo Duncan; mother and father-in-law, Edward and Dorthy Daugherty Stephens; several special aunts and uncles.

Sara is survived by her daughters, Mary Watson of Winfield (Tim Damron) and Ina Anderson (Matt Sexton) of Winfield; four grandchildren, Cody Watson (Savannah Terry), Isiah Watson, McKenzie Anderson (Joey Phillips), and Dylan Anderson; one aunt, Alene (Elmon) Strunk; special friends, Jo and Barb, Donnie Burke, and Ann Walker; and many other relatives and friends.

Friends may visit with the Stephens family on Saturday, September 3, 2022 from 6 p.m. until time of the funeral service at 7 p.m. in the chapel of West-Murley Funeral Home with Bro. Chris Sewell officiating. Music will be provided by Justin Wright.

Committal service will be on Sunday, September 4, 2022 at 11 a.m. in the New Light Cemetery in Winfield. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
