Sarah "Kathryn" McBee Keck

Sarah “Kathryn” McBee Keck, age 76, of Knoxville, passed away on December 31,
2025.

Kathryn was a graduate of Central High, Class of ’67, and earned a BS from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. She retired from AT&T and was a member of Fountain City Presbyterian Church. She loved music, especially singing with the church choir for many years. She was also an avid reader.

Kathryn is preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Carl Keck Jr.; her parents, William Lon McBee Jr. and Mabel Elizabeth Adkins McBee; and her brother, William Lon McBee III.

She is survived by her daughter, Deborah Long (Greg); granddaughters, Rachel Crook (Andrew) and Emma Long; sisters, Jana Macias, Nancy Moss (Stan), Ruth Cooley (Lamar), and Mary McDonald (Brian); her lifelong friend, Brenda Ramage; and numerous other family and friends.

Friends and family are invited to a call at their convenience on Thursday, January 8, 2025, at Rose Funeral and Cremation – Mann from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. A graveside service will be held on Friday, January 9, 2025, at Duncan Family Cemetery, 709 Baker Highway, Huntsville, TN 37756, beginning at 1 p.m.
