Sherry Jones

Sherry Lynn Green Jones, age 47 of Winfield, TN, passed away on Friday, January 22, 2021 at her home.  Born April 20, 1973, she was the daughter of her parents, the late Paul and Margie Goodman of Huntsville, and her adoptive parents, the late Clifford and Vonnell Green of Straight Fork.  Sherry was a member of the Highway Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers:  James Goodman and Kenny Green; and sisters:  Cathy Taylor and Paula Goodman.

Sherry is survived by her husband:  Wayne Jones; two daughters:  Tawanna and Haven Jones, both of Winfield; brothers:  Clifford Green and wife Joyce of Oneida, Don Green and wife Norma of Clinton, TN, Allen Green and wife Carolyn of Straight Fork, and Dean Green and wife Jennie of Straight Fork; sister:  Debbie Foster and husband Doug of LaFollette, TN; Father and Mother-in-law:  Clarence and Sheila Jones; sister-in-law:  Sherry Melissa Jones; several nieces, nephews and other family members and friends.

Friends may visit with the Jones family on Wednesday, January 27, 2021 from 7 p.m. until time of the funeral service at 8 p.m. at Clay Hill Missionary Baptist Church in Winfield with Bro. Mark Smith officiating.

After the service, Sherry’s request was cremation.

With the Health Guidelines in place at this time, we ask that you be mindful of the social distancing measures recommended by the Centers for Disease Control.  Masks are required.
