Shirley Griffith

Shirley Ruth Phillips Griffith age 86 of Robbins, TN departed this life on Monday, December 18, 2023, at her home with her loving family by her side. She was born on June 20, 1937, to the late Burse and Lillian Goad Phillips. Shirley worked at the Scott County School System as a teacher for over 35 years. Shirley was an outstanding citizen of the community and was loved by all that knew her.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ike L. Griffith.

She is survived by her loving son, Quinthony B. Griffith; her grandsons, Eric Griffith and companion Michelle and Trevor Griffith and companion Karyn; great grandsons, Landon and Peyton Griffith; brother, Jack Phillips and wife Leann; niece, Christy West and husband Tim; great nephew, Connor West and wife Kennedi; great niece, Presley West; her lifelong companion, Harold Keeton; special caregiver, Amy Byrd; special friends, Jeff Lowe and wife Twana, James Chambers and wife Brenda and Concord Baptist Community Chapel Church Family. She left many other relatives and friends.

Friends may visit with the Griffith family on Friday, December 22, 2023 from 11 a.m. until time of the funeral service at 2 p.m. in the chapel of West-Murley Funeral Home with Bro. Jeff Lowe and Bro. David Brewster officiating. Music will be provided by the Concord Baptist Community Chapel.

Committal service will follow in the Baptist Memorial Cemetery in Robbins in the Brickyard community. Pallbearers will be: Eric, Trevor, Landon, Peyton Griffith, James Chambers, and Joey Slaven. Honorary pallbearers will be: Paul Keeton, Danny Keeton, and Conner West.
