Shirley Ruth Gibson Mynatt Obituary

Shirley Ruth Gibson Mynatt, age 75 of Huntsville, TN passed away on Saturday, March 14, 2020 at Turkey Creek Medical Center in Knoxville, TN. Born February 9, 1945, she was the daughter of the late Elmer and Reba Byrd Gibson. Shirley was a member of the White Rock Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother: D. T. Gibson; and brother-in-law: Edson R. Jeffers.

Shirley is survived by her 3 children: Jennie Keeton and husband Doug, Ricky Jones and wife Shirley, Teresa Sexton and husband Steve; grandchildren: Natasha Byrd and husband Gary, Jessica Keeton, Tyler Carroll and wife Ashley, Jasmine Jones and fiancé Jacob Lay; great grandchildren: Cheven, McKinlee and Braylon Byrd, Baylie, Peyton and Madison Carroll; sister: June B. Jeffers and son Jared Jeffers. She was loved by so many, and will be missed by all who knew her.

Friends may visit with the Mynatt family on Tuesday, March 17, 2020 from 6:00 p.m. until time of funeral service at 8:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Jones & Son Funeral Home with Bro. Jim West officiating. Music will be provided by Daniel Murley.

Committal service will be held on Wednesday, March 18, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. in the Fairview Cemetery in the Huntsville, TN. Pallbearers will be: Doug Keeton, Gary Byrd, Steve Sexton, Cheven Byrd, Tyler Carroll and Jacob Lay.
