Sue King

Sue Goad King, age 87 of Elgin, TN passed from this life on Friday, February 21, 2025, after a short illness. She was a member of Lone Mountain Missionary Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dean King; son, Michael King; parents, Walter and Sarah Goad; mother and father-in-law, Grace and Ledford King.

She is survived by her daughter, Waynette Harness and husband Dwight; stepson, Max King; grandchildren, Ashlee Glaspy and husband Ace, Amber Norman and husband Josh, Azekiel Harness, Beth King, Emmalee King, Andrew King, and Reagan King; great grandchildren, Conner Glaspy, Willow Glaspy, Lilliana Glaspy, Brody Norman, Logan Norman, and Nathaniel Norman; daughter-in-law, Jamie King-Kinsler; three brothers, Wayne, Jimmy, and Johnny Goad; one sister, Judy Lueking; special cousin, Charlotte Christopher; grandson of her heart, Cayden Ledbetter; several nieces and nephews, many other relatives and friends.

A private funeral service will be held with Bro. Dudley Harness officiating. Music will be provided by grandchildren, Ashlee Glaspy, Amber Norman, and Azekiel Harness.

Interment will be at Black Creek Crossroads Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be: Dwight Harness, Ace Glaspy, Josh Norman, Azekiel Harness, Conner Glaspy, and Brody Norman. Honorary pallbearers will be: Logan Norman and Andrew King.
