Sylvester 'Buggie' Keeton, Jr.

Sylvester ‘Buggie’ Keeton, Jr., age 68, of Hope Mills, NC, passed away on June 10, 2025.  Born September 5, 1956, in Scott County, TN, he was the son of the late Sylvester Keeton and Dorothy Annaline Woodward (Cross).

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by this wife:  Sheila Keeton (Hughett); step-father:  Ivan Woodward; sister:  Vergie Manis (Harness); and brother:  Larry George Keeton.

He was a hard worker who loved his wife, children and grandchildren.  He will be missed by many.  He was a born again Christian and is now in the arms of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Buggie is survived by his sons:  Justin and wife Rosemarie, Michael of Hope Mill, NC, and Travis and wife Michelle of Colorado; sisters:  Judy Faye Martin (Keeton) and husband Kenneth of Helenwood, TN, and Amanda Sands (Woodward) and husband Eddie of Knoxville, TN; granddaughters:  Zephyr, Madalyn, and Emily; grandsons:  Jason, Alex, and Liam; nieces:  Crystal Stanley, Courtney Polattie, Kelly Short, Amber Smithers, Malesha Goodman, Lindsey Sands, Annalyne Woodward and Kayleb Woodward; and other family members and friends.

The family has chosen cremation.
