Teresa Jean (Hamby) Griffith

Teresa Jean Hamby Griffith was reunited with her Lord and Savior Jesus and her husband Reverend Jimmy Eugene Griffith on September 26, 2024.  She was a member of the Lone Mountain Baptist Church where she served at her husband’s side in his Ministry.  She played the piano for the church choir, which brought her great joy. 

She has three surviving children:  Jason, Mark, and Jamie Griffith; six grandchildren:  Natlie Joy, Avery Faith, Kaylee Hope, Bentley Eugene, Nathanial Sabastion and Sydney Makayla; two brothers and two sisters:  Tammy and Brian West and their sons Franklin and Jonathan Jones, Cathy and Mike Collins and sons Brandon and Matthew, Steve and Monika Hamby, daughter and sons Channing and Connor, Patrick and Missy Hamby, and sons Patrick, Derrick, Caleb, and daughter Raelee Hamby, and special niece: Henrietta, and Anthony and son Dakota; special friends of profound importance: Marty and Brenda Shoemaker, Joyce and Llyod Wood, Sherry Strunk, Teresa Blevins; Jimmie Foster, Debbie Griffith, and Charlotte Garrett; as well as many other family members and friends.

Friends may visit with the Griffith family on Sunday, September 29, 2024, from 1:00 p.m. until time of funeral service at 3:00 p.m. at the Lone Mountain Missionary Baptist Church in Robbins, with Bro. Michael Smithers and Bro. Gabriel Terry officiating.  Music will be provided by Brent and Leslie Shoemaker.

Committal service will follow in the Lone Mountain Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be:  Dakota Henry, Anthony Henry, Brandon Collins, Mathew Collins, Nathanial Blaker, Mark Griffith, Franklin Jones and Phillip Lay.
