Theresa "Lynn" Smithers

Theresa "Lynn" Smithers of Robbins, TN, peacefully went to be with Jesus while surrounded by loved ones Sunday, August 18th.

Lynn was born May 30, 1955, the daughter of Clara Sue Baker (Mother) and Paul Johnson (Father), granddaughter of Ralph Griffith (Daddy) and Lizzie Griffith (Momma).

Lynn was preceded in death by her father, mother, step-dads Don Baker and Pete Huffman, uncles and aunts that were more like brothers and sisters, brothers, and her momma and daddy.

She was survived in death by her devoted husband of 52 years Mike Smithers; daughters: Tina Henry and husband Chris, Erica Hamby and husband Aaron; 5 grandchildren: Holden Henry and wife Lissa, Tyler Henry, Hunter Henry and wife Sarah, Elizabeth and Creed Hamby; 5 great-grandchildren: Rylee, Avery, Rhett, River and Elsie Henry; sister: Barbara Johnson; brothers: Joe Johnson and Scott Johnson; aunt: Pauline Todd and husband Commodore; sister-in-law: Sheila Gunter and husband Leon; and many other friends and relatives.

Special thanks to Dr. Tim Smith and the staff at Grace Primary Care; Brenda Smith and the staff at Quality Home Health and Hospice; and her loving church family at Robbins First Baptist.

Friends may visit with the Smithers family on Wednesday, August 21, 2024 from 5 p.m. until the time of the Celebration of Life service at 7 p.m. at Robbins First Baptist Church. Music will be provided by the Robbins First Baptist Church.

Committal service will be on Thursday, August 22, 2024 at 11 a.m. in the Ralph and Lizzie Griffith Cemetery in Nydeck. Pallbearers will be family.
