Virgie A. Autry

Virgie A. Autry, age 83 of Oneida, Tennessee, passed away on Thursday, July 2, 2020 at the Methodist Medical Center of Oak Ridge. Born in Oneida, TN on May 19, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Olson and Mable West. She was a member of Grave Hill Church. Virgie was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Milford and daughter, Kitty Yana Dunphy.

Virgie is survived by her husband, John C. Autry; daughter, Karen Yvette Heath and husband Jim of LaFollette, TN; son, John Wesley and wife Ann of Oneida; grandchildren, Roger Watters of Atlanta, Erica, Brooke and Dylan Dunphy of Oneida, Jason and Ashley Heath of LaFollette; 14 great grandchildren; 2 sisters, Louise Jeffers and Judy Sexton of Oneida; Charles West of Michigan; and many other relatives and friends.

Friends may visit with the Autry family on Saturday, July 4, 2020 from 3 p.m. until time of the funeral service at 4 p.m. in the chapel of West-Murley Funeral Home with Bro. Don Kidd officiating and Bro. Marshall Terry reading the obituary.

Committal service will follow in the Grave Hill Cemetery in Oneida. Pallbearers will be: Brent Davis, John Autry, Jim Heath, Mike, Wayne and Jason Watson and Anthony Carson.
